This is a VirtueMart 1.1 NEW api Shipping Module/Plugin for the Australian Post Office Parcel Service - Domestic and International - Postage Assessment Calculator (PAC) API

You need to apply to Australian Post for an api key to use the calculator. Simply enter it in the plugin configuration. You need to register here Register

Uses the NEW AusPost api (Postage Assessment Calculator (PAC) API), the old one to be decommisioned at some date.

Choose to always return the cheapest rate or choose your shipping method seperately for Domestic and International
Returns all errors

Your units for the product need to be in centimeters and kilos!

Install the module by unzipping the auspost_vm1.1_improved_gjc.zip and ftp the files and folder to administrator/components/com_virtuemart/classes/shipping.

The shipping method will then be available in the VirtueMart shipping dialogues.

Then go to Virtuemart-->Shipping Module List and configure.

You can chose any of the various AusPost shipping methods or choose to show only the cheapest.
Postage Assessment Calculator (PAC) API

The module calculates in real time the shipping price from Australia Post considering the following parameters -

Store Owner Postcode
Customer Postcode or Country Code
Quantity
Weight (kilo)
Length (centimeter)
Girth (centimeter)
