Before starting this blog I had assumed that all and any information I needed for multilingual site building and optimising would be easily Googled. Alas no, there is really a dearth of info in English and a lot of it is contradictory even within the forum posts. In this post I'll list what forums I have found useful but again I stress that there just isn't a lot of information out there. I have started to write a series of articles on our website that will try to pull together all the various treads needed in multilingual SEO. But first here's the list of forums. The Webmaster World forum is huge and has a European section with a lot of info on search engines etc but pretty thin on actual hard advice. Digital Point is another biggie with forums on every aspect of the web industry. They have some cool free tools as well. The Highrankings forum Jill Whalen's SEO forum is a good place to find general info on SEO and there is an International / Multilingual Search Marketing Issues section although not very busy. Searchguild is again very popular but slim pickings on international SEO. SEO Chat has loads of tools, articles and an active forum. Cre8asite Forums are very helpful and friendly with a wide range of expertise but again very thin on multilingual advice. SEO Best Practices with over 10,000 members is full of info but the international forum apart from the UK is dead. As you can see there's lots of forums out there for SEO but not a lot to help with "hardcore" multilingual SEO. I'll continue the list, they're all full of good advice on mainly US issues with a smattering of UK advice.
