Disable Joomla php error reporting with @ (at) symbol

Joomla 1.5 VirtueMart 1.1 I have had a couple of occasions when uncooperative, client chosen hosts have overridden the Joomla error reporting setting. In this case unimportant "Notice" errors can be disabled from within the code.

Change the VirtueMart Currency Symbols for Multi-Currency

Joomla 1.5 VirtueMart 1.1 The VirtueMart default currency symbol is configured in the Admin-->Store-->Edit Store-->Currency Display Style but in a multi-currency Shop you just have the default currency symbols like EUR and USD for the other currencies. I found this hack to solve this in the VirtueMart forums.

Select VirtueMart Currency By Language

VirtueMart 1.1 Joomla 1.5 Joomfish 2.0 Have seen a few times the request for the VirtueMart currency to be set by the chosen language. After a fair amount of trial and error I've finally got this to work.

How to show correct modules on ccNewsletter thank you pages

Joomla 1.5 ccNewsletter If you have different module layouts on different pages the thank you and other acknowledgement messages (subscribe, un-subscribe etc ) from ccNewsletter component won't return the correct module layout. This is because the return urls are lacking an Itemid.
