Breezing Forms / FacileForms pass field to another


Make a new text input as normal.

In the Init Script section of the Scripts tab use this Javascript code to pass the value to this field. - 





function ff_eo_name_init(element, condition)
{
 var surname  = ff_getElementByName('surname').value; 
var forename  = ff_getElementByName('forename').value; 
   
   var text_input3 = ff_getElementByName('eo_name');
   text_input3.value = forename+" "+surname;
}

  • The name of the current element must be in the function name in this format - 
    function ff_current-field_init(element, condition)
  • 2 values are being pulled from previous fields - surname and forename
  • They are being combined in the new field eo_name
