This is a VirtueMart Shipping Module for the Australian shipping company e-go.com.au

Please note: For this module to function allow_url and allow_url_fopen must be enabled on your server. In the majority of cases this is standard but please check before buying. We can also code another solution if your server is not so configured.
Also your units for the product need to be centimeters and kilos!

Install the module by unpacking the zip and ftp the 3 files to administrator/components/com_virtuemart/classes/shipping/.

The VirtueMart Shipping Folder structure should look like the screenshot.

The next step is to enable the e-go.com.au shipping module in the VirtueMart 1.1 backend.
Go to Admin-->Configuration and click the Shipping Tab. Here you can enable the e-go.com.au Shipping Module by ticking the checkbox and saving.

The module calculates in real time the shipping price from e-go considering the following parameters -
  • Store Owner Postcode
  • Customer Postcode
  • Quantity
  • Weight (kilo)
  • Length (centimeter)
  • Height (centimeter)
  • Depth (centimeter)

N.B bug found in Ver 3. affects on some occasions when there are multiple amounts of multiple products, the quantity (number of) products is applied in the wrong order meaning the weight is inaccurate.
Fixed in Ver4.
