Install the module in the normal Joomla way.

Joomla 1.5 show images module folder The first step is to prepare the images you want to show. The module is intended to show images in a grid layout so ideally you will make them all the same size and aspect ratio.
This is good practice in any case as images resized in a graphics program will always be of a better quality than resized in a web browser.
Name your images all the same and add a number to the end e.g. gjc_logo1.png, gjc_logo2.png, gjc_logo3.png etc..

Create the folder on your Joomla installation and upload them. Fill in the folder path in the module parameters e.g. images/stories/showimages

Continue to fill in the nesscesary info such as the file name, in this case gjc_logo. Don't use the number or the extension.
Then the extension and the number of images to show.

yes, up to 10 images each with separate parameters.
You can see the images above all have different links..
Number of images can be extended by adding to the xml file

Hi, I'm assuming that you can set unique URLs for each image file? This could be a really helpful module if that's the case. Beats using a table!

Dear John
I am not a programmer of any kind.
I am experimenting with a website and Joomla 1.5
The idea is that the Main page shows a grid of Thumbnail images. Any image when clicked brings up another page with another grid of thumbnail images. Click on any one of those and another page with another grid of images shows up. And so on.
Would your module do this?

Hi,
It seems good to me, but I can't see the images. The size, alternative text and borders are displayed, but not the actual images (only a blank square is shown). I have put the entire path to the images folder (/public_html/templates/ja_purity/images/albardins).

Can you help me? Best regards

This module looks usefull to me, but I have a question.
If you have several pictures (width: 200px)in the same right module (width: 250px), will they automatically be displayed vertically, this way avoiding to put multiple random image modules in your site? Or can you choose to display them horizontaly or verticaly?
